Celtic knotwork and designs. Norse designs. Star shaped floral designs.
-
Rock, stone, leather and metal are all things to keep in mind when planning for other types of decorations.
-
Again hand-tied bouquets of wildflowers or other cut flowers can work really well here.

Heavier, more “solid” fabrics

Judicious use of ornate pattern works well (Balance it with simplicity else where)

Fabrics : Velvet, wool crepe, velveteen, duchess satin, damask, and embroidered fabrics. Even leather and fur!

- Gold, Celtic knotwork/designs. Some simple floral motifs work well, also. Natural polished semi-precious stones like Malachite, Lapis, Amber (no bugs inside!), Tiger Eye, Jade and Garnet might work well. Rhinestones don’t work well for a Rohirric wedding!

Headbands, wreaths of flowers or leaves, simple, medieval style (not over the top) tiaras might also work well. Natural polished semi-precious stones like Malachite, Lapis, Amber (no bugs inside!), Tiger Eye, Jade and Garnet might work well. Rhinestones don’t work well for a Rohirric wedding!

For veils, keep it very simple, perhaps in a medieval style of wearing a headband/circlet over a long veil. Perhaps there is no headdress at all, just a veil draped over the head.
