Music

  • String Quartets, Cello Ensemples, or a pianist would be lovely.
  • Pre-recorded music
  • Medieval, renaissance, celtic and classical music

Musical Groups:

For my own wedding, I rented a professional quality stero system. We did not need a DJ since we didn't have a bouquet toss (no need), garter toss or dance floor (our families and friends aren't dancers). I also wanted to be sure that no "Chicken Dance" or "Hokey Pokey" was played by some tricksey DJ. It was pretty economical and very simple to do. The hardest thing was transporting the heavy equipment cases.

I burned four CDs of music. For what I did not already have in my music collection, iTunes was a great source for classical music. I also created medlies of some of my favorite LOTR music and other soundtrack favorites. Soundtracks music is generally great. It's usually very emotive and dramatic.
