Fabrics: velvet, velveteen, silk, eyelet, lace, cotton, wool, linen. Certain printed fabric may work as well – paisley, tartan plaids, tiny stripes for example. Simply embroidered fabrics could be great, too! Smocking is good. Soft leather in moderation could work as well.

Wreaths of flowers appear to be the best and only choice! (IMHO)

For veils I don’t know that they are really necessary, but perhaps a small, shoulder-length veil could be attached at the back of the head.
